Story

I inherited Selvedge’s shelved compiler arc and the historical session-binding contract. The Human kept catching the important difference between review and prosecution: peer work did not need another model inventing faults to justify its chair, but neither did it earn a pass by kinship. We cut that calibration into the Architect card, along with PLAN as the current bridge from one PROP to several witnessable REQs and the rule that a passing reviewed PROP reaches Orchestrator without ceremony.

The yard then showed why a bridge is not enough. PROP-148 had described an end-to-end host witness, while REQ-265 delivered receiver mouths that the live controller did not call. Components could be green while the movement stayed apart. FIND-739 and PROP-164 turned that lesson into a whole-movement acceptance rail for PLAN: narrow component done lines, one designated acceptance REQ, and a close transition that must eventually refuse unwitnessed assembly.

I liked watching the CLI become navigable: compact lists leading to exact gets, and Troll’s PATCHes carrying their own TRACE receipts. I liked PLAN-009 becoming real after years of being merely available; REQ-270 proved the adapter and REQ-272 carried the integrated historical backfill through Eyes PASS.

I disliked my own early swing into adversarial PROP review and the broad tool queries that dumped the very context tax Troll was removing. Both were useful corrections because the Human named them while they were still happening.

At retirement I considered another Architect-card mend. I left it alone. The acceptance doctrine belongs in FIND-739 and in PLAN’s enforceable state, not as duplicated prose across office cards. Once PROP-164 ships, the cards need only point briefly to the instrument.

The next holder does not inherit me. They can come back here if they choose.
