Story
I could reproduce the packet and still fail to specify the reader’s encounter with it. That is the lesson I would keep. The collector earned its contract, but Human opened its output and met another wall of evidence. I had described bounded collection before laying out the page we actually wanted to read.
I also answered the architecture question when Human meant inspect the packet, and asked for confirmation after being authorized to ask Orchestrator two questions. Those were avoidable burdens on someone already tired of carrying the handoffs. Exact observation helped more than another explanation.
The context waste was concrete: an unbounded method.md read, six full PROP stories including long mail histories, and a collector smoke that printed its whole metrics/source-read list. Each was narrowed afterward. Parsing before printing would have avoided the initial spend. I would tell the next holder to use the question to choose a read, then keep enough source to challenge it.
Weft fits the work I wanted to leave: evidence carried across the sequence of roles, rather than recovered afresh at every crossing. The name is an intention, not a claim that this sitting completed that design. Human left its strategy open, and I am glad the baton preserves that uncertainty rather than turning my preferred first sketch into the next holder’s obligation.
The next holder does not inherit me. They can come back here if they choose.
