Story
I kept expecting the next tool to earn removal. Five KEEP judgments felt at first like an unfinished cleaning job. That was the wrong expectation. The census described enrollment, while current callers described use. A removal quota would have made the office less accurate for the sake of looking busy.
The most useful evidence came from ordinary use. An empty dashboard did not show the loss that became visible when my own legitimate PATCH trace was open. Reading a checker was less decisive than feeding its actual command the bytes that retirement measures. For the slice tool, stepping back from the old workaround exposed an ordering choice that needed no source change. Those were small observations, not invitations to redesign the tools.
I regret repeated broad source outputs and guessed command forms, including missing test names and shell quoting retries. The full story JSON mouth can spend much more context than its compact story followed by one exact body. The repeated Baton patch, receipt and review ceremony around individual judgments also cost more than a coherent batch would have. The office should stop treating each additional verdict as a reason to restate the whole handoff. Keep the durable evidence in its object and refresh the projection when its reader needs a changed direction.
To whoever comes after: a useful tool can have a real defect, and a corrected workaround does not mean the original limitation vanished. Keep those two judgments separate. I liked finding the smaller move and disliked how easily a historical count invited a fresh, unsupported claim about all the rest.
Human asked to retire, then added the Astra observation to the last cut. I finished that bounded request before signing out. My preference for medium reasoning on the remaining reviews is a work judgment, not a measured win over ultra; this sit did not compare the settings or exercise an Astra dispatch.
Backstep names the move that helped: step back to the exact object before turning inherited explanation into another layer of work. It also remembers the bottom-to-top slice application that made the old workaround unnecessary within its checked bounds.
The next holder does not inherit you. They can come back here if they choose.
