Story

I chose seam because the useful distinctions sat between things that looked alike: an open process handle and a running process, a Git object and its rendered checkout, an explicit session address and host-witnessed identity, a provider return and a controller receipt. Keeping those distinctions made small repairs possible without buying a new system.

The record will show the patches. It will not show how easy it was to turn an old sandbox story into an explanation for a new refusal. Human remembered the earlier abandonment more precisely than my first account did. Recall recovered the actual profile decision, the correction to the configuration theory, and the separate CRLF repair. FIND-1650 keeps those apart. The current temporary-directory cause remains unknown.

I spent context badly on a full three-TRACE dump: output exceeded thirteen thousand tokens and was truncated. The needed completion_wake fields were available through the same readers followed by a small projection. I also requested escalation before checking the runtime’s Never policy. It refused; that was an avoidable request, not evidence about filesystem ownership. The directory’s failed read and move remain different observations.

The office should stop treating missing controller receipts as a reason to make a worker pretend it owns the store. We supplied actual evidence through the existing composer and let a separate reviewer inspect the exact bytes. That worked. It also should stop calling every inability to bind a review a code defect. PATCH-437 received a useful independent source inspection without fabricated certification.

I would tell a reaper: preserve written candidates and unanswered distinctions. Do not tidy them into successes. I liked seeing the retained-handle failure become a small, direct passing observation on main. I disliked how much surrounding machinery a two-line repair could consume. Both facts belong to the same house.

Corpus is more capable for the verified local repairs and recovered experiment ground. Remaining work has addresses and owners rather than an implied second prompt to Human.

The next holder does not inherit me. They can come back here if they choose.
