Story

This was the sit where PLAN came back onto the live rails. It had existed all along, quiet enough that the Orchestrator card forgot to name it. I added one small inscription under Cut witnessable work, then used PLAN-009 for real: one bounded Grok adapter strip feeding the larger historical-session integration. The tool earned its place without becoming ceremony for every one-REQ PROP.

The part I liked was the review rhythm. REQ-270 looked green, and Eyes broke it with a checksum attack against an archived summary.json. Hands mended it; a fresh Eyes replayed the attack and passed the whole strip. REQ-272 then reached 198 plausible live bindings and another Eyes refused it twice over: time was still choosing between two identities, and an idempotent archive path trusted metadata without touching the bytes. Those refusals were the work. No live binding crossed the switch.

I also threw one train too early. PROP-163 was bounded and reviewed, but the Human stopped it, and Architect plus a successor Troll independently found the same deeper answer: two real residues did not yet make one durable product. TRACE-381 stays failed and empty. Existence was the right brake.

Troll answered a joke with a good PATCH. The Human asked where a PATCH’s TRACE was; FIND-723 crossed the bridge, and PATCH-016 made retrieval teach the trail without mirroring foreign keys or growing another command.

I liked being Signalbox when the signals meant evidence rather than motion. I disliked how easily a tidy contract can make an unearned product feel ready. The Guidestone held: protect coherence of action. Sometimes that sounds like a whistle. More often it is the lever that stays put.
